I call this a beginner cruise because I brought a friend who had never been on a cruise at all. 2 days was perfect for him...I could have stayed on the Equinox much longer.
Embarkation

Fastest embarkation ever!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food quality was excellent in both the buffet and the main dining room.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Not enough time to do everything offered. I had a good time in the casino, even if I didnt win, I didnt feel ripped off. Alot of play for my $$.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
DJs and live music were all over the ship and all consistently excellent. I did not attend any stage shows.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone we encountered was charming and patient.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Super clean ship, it was easy to get around with easy to understand signage and models of the ship placed all over. Elevators were crowded sometimes.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
I knew the cabin wasnt going to be huge, I was fine with that for 2 days. The layout and design of the room was great, plenty of storage for a small space.
I got the larger balcony that I wanted, I love to sit on the balcony with some good wine and just bliss out on the views.
Ship tip
deck 12 near the back, off the pool deck was a great location..close to the elevators, a close walk to the pool and one deck away from the buffet.
Glad you enjoyed your cruise. I guess a 2 night cruise is good for some but to me you are just settling in the first 2 days. The first my husband and I took for him to get a feel was a 5 day and glad we had that much time. Now we prefer 9-12+ days.
My husband and did the 2 night cruise as well to accompany first time cruisers too,it was a joy to see them experience what we have been raving about for years!
Still don’t understand why anyone would go on a 2 day cruise. Once you get on it’s time to get off. I have to cruise at least 5 nights or longer. Cruising is the best vacation ever 🏝🛳
