Review summary
First time on Celebrity does not disappoint. We heard many things about the line and we thought we should finally try it after 20+ cruise on Royal. We found ourselves comparing Celebrity and Royal throughout and Celebrity seemed to be winning out in almost all categories for our family. The only con in comparison is the lack of activities for kids, but we came in knowing this and were looking forward to just sitting by the pool with a good book. We have been to all these ports before and just wanted to enjoy the ship so we never left! Captain Kate was fantastic and very visible. She attended all of the shows, was active in the shops, and spent almost all of the evenings chatting and taking photos with passengers. This was her last sailing before moving over to Edge so we were happy to experience her as captain before she left.Embarkation

Ship tip
If you are looking for a great quiet place to relax, go to deck 11 forward and go to the spa relaxation room. Its designed for people waiting for treatments but is open to everyone and was almost always empty and has fantastic views out the front of the ship.
