Review summary

Never received any onboard credit and will not cruise again.  Easier to fly to a destination and experience it for more than 6 hours.  Crowded venues and "premium" restaurants not worth it.  Concierge cabins are a joke.

i love to cruise, mainly for the itineraries/destinations. you can see so much in such a little time span. when i really enjoy a location and wish to spend more time there, i'll come back by plane. 😊

Most cruisers cruise for the onboard experience, while the ship takes them from Port to Port. If you are just using the ship to get from point A to point B, then flying would be the way to go. Do the airlines offer onboard credits? I don't think so. And if you don't like crowed venues, then you certainly wouldn't want to spend any time in an airport. You are smart to recognize that cruising is not for everyone. Happy travels.
