Review summary

We purchased a Concierge level room and paid extra for what we thought would be an incredible experience and IT WAS NOT!!!  I compared our perks to someone with an interior room and we did not have anything special.  Oh wait, we had thicker robes.  No special room service menu, no special services.  This is not a reflection on the staff but how the Cruise line presents the "Concierge Level Rooms."  We received a voicemail from a concierge that if we needed anything, we could call her.   Our Cabin steward was so nice and most of the staff were very kind.  However, if we are comparing to "Princess" and a regular balcony room; it was terrible.  The food was just average unless you were paying extra for a specialty restaurant.  The storage space in the "Concierge Balcony Room" is terrible.  We have cruised with 5 others cruise lines so we have a lot to compare to.

Ship tip

DO NOT PAY EXTRA for a Concierge Level Room. It is a waste of your money!

We choose Concierge always have a cabin in a great area, the other pluses are nice, we were on ship within 15 minutes of arrival the new lunch was a nice change, flowers fruit bottle of fizz, great contact with the Concierge, we did both Speciality and MDR still my number 1 Cruise Line choice have 3 more booked

It sounds like you may have confused what exactly "Concierge Level" means? Wine, flowers and fruit in the room, evening snacks, embarkation lunch in the dining room, early boarding, and a dedicated concierge to help with any other needs. These alone are all things an interior room does not have....in addition to a beautiful balcony in a desired location! I'd take that ANY day!!

Did Celebrity promise some benefit with Concierge that you did not receive?

We are booked concierge for April with 2 cruises. Hoping it meets and exceeds our expectations.

I thought the food was much better than princess in the main dining room. Concierge has a few extra perks. Ur you're basically paying for a better balcony location.
