Review summary
What a frustrating week while we try to respond to email offers from Celebrity to add excursions and other packages to our cruise vacation. We booked through a charter partner of Celebrity, and have received several offers directly from Celebrity regarding ways to spend more money on their ship. When we tried to add a package, we were directed to an error website that said, "site can't be reached." When I called Celebrity, they said the charter partner made the decision to not offer the packages. When I called the partner, they said they had nothing to do with it, and Celebrity - AS A POLICY - does not offer these packages to charters. So why, Celebrity, TELL ME WHY, you are spamming me with offers of packages that I cannot take advantage of?? We have lots of cruising experience on other lines that have never outright lied to us about what is available, and then blamed their partners. Well, the result is we will spend less money on the Celebrity ship. And next time, we will not sign up for a Celebrity ship.
That's false advertising, Celebrity. And, ethically questionable.
