Review summary

Loved the ship. It was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. There was plenty of space in that we could always find a private place to lounge. Blu was a beautiful restaurant and not crammed. The elevators had great signage inside and out.

The buffet food was cold at times. We had open seating at Blu which was excellent as was the food and the service was excellent.

Entertainment

I attended one variety show (singing and dancing program) and that was enough for me. The quality was poor. The dancers were not great and the costumes did not fit properly.

Service and Staff

I had one issue with guest relations. We wanted information regarding the train service from the port in Rome and they were not helpful. They seemed more concerned with their own services and were not willing to help us learn more about the public transportation options. My husband's back seized and he required treatment on the ship. He visited the acupunturist. We could have recouped the cost through our group benefit program (extended health benefits) if a proper reciept and license information was available which\, it was not.

Our stateroom had a balcony and it was clean\, fresh\, comfortable\, spacious\, and our sanctuary while travelling.

Pros: Our stateroom.

Cons: A few of the ports were very tourist trap like.
