Review summary

We have been on several Celebrity cruises and had high expectations on the quality of the cruise line based on past experience, The crew was very disorganized, inattentive to guest's needs. Lack of inventory (wine, soda and others items). Food was not up to the quality or variety that we were used to getting in the past.

Speciality restaurants were very dissatisfying! Wine lists were limited and were out of very many wines that were on the list. Buffet was the best but the food was very spicy

All cruise lines are having problems since covid. Many of the help left for other jobs. Most cruise lines had to hire all new help. Obviously you haven't been cruising since covid. Since post covid I have been on the Edge twice and Apex once. Yes you are correct about several issues. Again the cruise industry is still trying to recover from the covid disaster. But you may be overreacting on some issues. Yes, there are some bumps on all the cruise lines due to covid. I have been on 3 Celebrity cruises since post covid and been on 60 + cruises starting 1973 and Celebrity is still a premium cruise line.

I went on Celebrity twice in 2019, on the Equinox and Infinity, and both times were exceptional! It seems that after 2021 things have changed. I'm reading that the new ships are no guarantee that the experience will be better or equal prior to 2020. But it may seasonal hiccup in service quality.

Hubs and I were on Soltice November '22. Food was horrible. Went on Celebrity Summit Nov '19 best food I've ever had! 8 of us are going on Celebrity Acsent to Europe Oct '24 . We are nervous about the food!
