Review summary

Will never cruise with Celebrity again, (currently Elite with nearly ten cruises); had a problem with their internet service, and when I brought it to the attention of their internet staff and customer service they were dismissive: "Buy the upgraded service." "Yeah, our Basic plan which you purchased doesn't give you enough bandwidth to open AOL. Too bad." On board internet is important to me, and customer service being dismissive was insulting. There are other cruise lines available.

I haven't had an issue recently with WiFi. Celebrity is added Starlink so soon all the ships will have better internet. Basic WiFi does not give you a lot.of bandwidth. I usually upgrade. Sometimes its the cabin. They actually came to my cabin to tell me where I had the best reception .i have always found the internet people to be very helpful. They do hire performers etc to help people login. Make sure you if you have an issue to talk to an IT person and not a crew person helping you to login.

We all hold different things important but seems a pretty minor thing to make you stop using a cruise line you’ve done 10 cruises with. Their attitude could also depend on how you approached the subject with them in the first place, sometimes people can come across as more confrontational when they’re irritated.

Just got off Celebrity Beyond and the wifi worked great! But my last couple of Celebrity cruises I have noticed the passengers are very rude now than in the past
