Review summary
Preliminary remark: We have 40 cruises behind us; 20 of them with Celebrity cruises. We know any ship of the Millenium class and the Soltice class too. Now we were at the EDGE for the first but not the last time. Many things on the ship take getting used to; not in a negative sense. Pros: Ship: equipment, cleanliness, etc. - excellent Cabin: equipment, cabin service, cabin cleanliness, the new "balcony feeling" - everything excellent Restaurants: 4 main restaurants; we preferred Tuscany - food, service - very good Service: waiter Sheldon, Haluk (wine waiter) and Meta excellent. Cons: Restaurants are almost always crowded Pool: Guests reserve several sun loungers early in the morning. From 9 a.m. there is no longer a couch; especially on sea days. Loungers are reserved and unused for hours. Seating areas: almost always occupied. Guests put their feet on other seating and also on the tables !!! Real story: Jep Bush and George W. Bush visited their mother Barbara Bush (great lady). Georg W. sat down and put his feet on the table. Then Barbara said please take your feet off the table. Then Jep says: Mother, that's the president. Barbara replied: I don't care that I don't like to have any feet on the table.Embarkation
