Visiting islands that we haven't seen in years made for an interesting cruise.

Embarkation was very slow since we had to have our passports checked by TSA for some reason. Once we got to the Celebrity checkin desk it went very quickly. Then off to lunch and exploring the ship.

While none of the islands where really new it was fun to see all the changes after 30+ years. Our visit to St. Kitts was special since our last visit was in 1978. While some changes have been made it was very little compared to our other stops. St. Martins had five huge ships so I guess 12,000 passengers let off  made it seem more like an ant hill than an island (our last visit was 1979). All in all a very relaxing trip.

Food was excellent with good variety and great service. Celebrity is very consistent in providing a high standard in cleanliness and service throughout the ship. Entertainment was OK with some very good acts or shows but a couple that where not to our liking. The ships company was very good.

Getting off in Miami was a breeze taking about 15 minutes in total.

Fantastic.  The service on board was outstanding.  All the stops were well organized.  The staff was incredible.  They were very helpful and there was everything I needed and wanted. The only downside was the location of the room.  Because of late bookings the ship was full and the room was noisy and rough.  Right on top of the anchor room and the rough waves pounding the hull kept me awake at night.  I complained and got no response, no compensation given.  Bad P.R.  

I would definitely recommend this cruise!  Immaculate ship, delicious food, friendly professional staff/service and beautiful destinations! My very favorite onboard activity:  attending iLearn sessions with Richard - fun and informative!

We have always enjoyed our sailings with Celebrity as the Staff and Crew have always made us feel welcome.  We chose this one as it was going further South first before going to the usual Caribbean Islands.  We hadn't been there for a while and were a little disappointed with a couple of places that have now become so commercialised, they have lost a lot of their charm.  The weather was excellent as usual.  I would recommend this cruise to anyone.

I cannot think of a single thing that was not the tops.Everything is a first time experience. All the staff couldnt be any kinder and welcoming.Thanks to Arnel our Butler, Rae our room attendant and our Consierge Sarah for our once in a lifetime cruise.Hope to continue to cruise in the future. I have no complaints at all as I said everything is an experience. Thank you Celebrity Eclipse.

14 days? Not long enough!!! We could have stayed another 14 easily! But we are thinking it might soon be time to try some other itineraries outside the Caribbean...

3rd cruise with Celebrity. Always impressed with the attention to detail and exceptional service. We love the amenities that are offered. My only complaint is the inconsistency of the drinks in the Cafe al Bachio.. the same drinks were prepared differently by each barista.

Due to unexpected events, I attended this cruise by myself. I did not feel alone (though I read 14 books) and the staff did not give me any less service compared to couples and groups.

The cruise started a bit bumpy, with waves splashing all the way up to my balcony on deck 6, but I did not feel scared or unsafe at any time. 

The only complaint I might have is that the cleaning of my stateroom was not that thorough at all times. 

Just finished southern Caribbean cruise on Eclipse,and enjoyed it very much.I was on the sister ship Silhouette in Europe two years ago and it was the best I have ever taken.Celebrity is the best as far as I can see,I've sailed on Princess and Carnival and Celebrity is buy far the best.

Overall we noticed that Celebrity have reduced the number of bar staff from 2 years ago, resulting in long waits at the bars.

In house entertainment wasn't as good as previous, but the "celebrity" guests were of top quality.

Main dining  wasn't as good as before as well with the choice of food not being as good.

having said all that, overall the cruise was still great and I would book with them again.

Loved this cruise ship, our first, friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. The only stop we didn’t enjoy was Sorrento, there were so many cruise ships there that the dock was solid with people. The queue for the chair lifts was never ending, the cobbled and snaking walk up, in the heat, was impossible and to ride those poor donkeys was not even an option, so, back to the ship for a leisurely day round the pool.

The entire cruise was great. I always recommend celebrity to my friends and family. I've never used another cruise line but in talking to other cruisers I'm better off staying with celebrity. 

Love this ship only two months before we go on her again, hoping to see many of the same crew as on her in January. She is a very well laid out ship that is easy to find everything with a nice relaxed feeling about her!!

We picked this itinerary as it included islands we had not visited. We were not disappointed. We arrived at the port around noon and after passing other cruise ship LONG lines we were pleased to have a quick check in. Our room was available at 1pm and we got our luggage by 4ish. We live in Florida so we did not do any tours in MIami. First sea day we did Galley tour which was informative. Highly recommend as it is also free. I recommend researching all ports and keep a list of sites you want to see. I noticed that when the common tourist sites were visited the balance of the tours were about buildings, schools and island industry and not all that interesting. Disembarkation was a little disorganized. First - listen to the crew and read the brochures provided. Ask if you don't know. We waited in the Tuscan grill as we are Elite members, it was comfortable. Luggage pick was a little chaotic as to which carousel is yours...again once we asked it went easy. Customs was easy and quick and there were plenty of taxis available for ride to airport and car rental

We just returned from a 14 day Caribbean cruise on the eclipse. We had read some bad reviews but went with an open mind. As it's impossible to make everybody happy. We had a wonderful time. The shows were all very good some outstanding. The crew were pleasant and work very hard. Our server in the dining room Vincent was terrific. He and his assistant silvan made our dining experience lovely. The food was all very good and plenty of choices. There was no reason for anyone to have complaints. The ship was lovely and clean. And captain Leo was great. The ports of call were all great as well. We had a great holiday and booked again for next year.

We had a fabulous two weeks cruising the exotic Caribbean. The ship was wonderful, as always,  and the staff was exceptional.  We have been on 12+ cruises and have spent our last several cruises on celebrity because we like them the best.  This cruise was not exception.  We chose a veranda mid ship and we loved the convenience.  We also chose the Premium package for alcohol and would do it again.  Although we are not big drinkers, it gave us an opportunity to try high end drinks without an extra charge.  I enjoyed a port after dinner every night and at home I tried to buy it and it was $115.00 per bottle.  I, certainly would never had that opportunity.  We also enjoyed many kinds if teas and coffees as part of the premium package and thoroughly enjoyed it.  

We loved the ABC Islands.  The snorkeling in these islands were spectacular!  The only Island that we were disappointed with was Barbados.  We hated the way the people attacked us every minute trying to sell us anything and everything.

Just returned from a 14nt cruise, overall a lovely cruise. This was our 2nd on celebrity our first was a Mediterranean cruise, ship was exactly the same, food was good, service in the main dining room excellent! We found there were too many sea days not enough ports compared to other lines. Have enjoyed sea days in the past but 2 continuous were not good, weather was not great on the way down to Aruba from Miami but a lot better on the return to Miami. Found the evening entertainment in the theatre was average a few individual acts were not bad but really not our thing. Entertainment was mainly geared for American/Canadian guests in the theatre and the age group of the guests were 75+ so it just wasn't our cup of tea. We booked a horse riding trip in Aruba but was cancelled due lack of interest this might have been due to the main age group of guests. The rest of the excursions we did through Celebrity and were very enjoyable. Had a lovely time first time to the Caribbean now debating a Scandinavian/Russia for the summer.

On on board her for a few nights but still amazing. Wish she had the alcoves like the reflection but ni love lost. Booked to go back on this ship for hawaii and cant wait!

We did not visit Bermuda so that we could avoid a storm and this disappointed many passengers especially as we have heard that other cruise ships did dock in Bermuda.

We were also unhappy about the alternative port of call selected as being Le Harvre.

This was a poor alternative considering we could have gone to The Canaries, Madeira, The Azores or ports in Spain and Portugal or even stayed overnight in Lisbon as we only had half a day there.

We also feel Celebrity is cutting back and this was our 7th cruise on Celebrity (and 16th cruise in total) and the 5th cruise on Eclipse and this was not as good as the previous cruises.

We were on the Norwegian Pearl a couple of weeks earlier and that was much better.

Unfortunately a port was cancelled due to bad weather, an overnight in Bermuda I was really looking forward to it as I haven't been there before. They decided to add La Harve at the end instead but I have previously been there as most cruise ships stop there, so I stayed on board.
