Review summary

This is a bucket list cruise and it doesn't disappoint. Antarctica is majestic and the ports of call are different from what you have probably been used to. If you can, take this cruise on Celebrity because they do it right!

Embarkation

The terminal we were first to sail from was damaged in a severe storm so a secondary location had to be used. The logistics in between these 2 locations was flawless and the experience was terrific.

Honestly, the food was somewhat bland and not as good as I expected in the MDR and specialty restaurants. The buffet was ok but the pizza was very good.

We loved the size of the ship and its layout. Very easy to get around in.

The cabin was good for a standard balcony style cabin. We were on the hump so the balcony was a larger balcony, which was very nice!

Ship tip

The ports and the scenic sailings will always make this a great cruise then you have a great ship like the Eclipse to relax on.

Sounds wonderful. I think all cruise lines food is blander than previously. It could be because some passengers do not like highly seasoned food. We like food with spice and seasoning.
