Review summary

I would recommend Celebrity to anyone looking for a relaxing atmosphere with quiet venues and subdued music. This line is geared towards a bit of an older crowd and definitely not the party crowd. It was lovely, and one of my favorite lines. I would no recommend for young children... just not enough "kid friendly" things to keep the busy... no water slides, etc.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
The smoothest embarkation I've had

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All venues and MDR were fantastic! Food was incredible - staff was incredible. Only non-issue was there were times no one came to get a drink order - so we went to the bar ourselves

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Used the solarium pool and the fitness center - the solarium pool was supposed to be adults only but no one enforced that rule - many days there were children in that area. Most adults go to that spot so there are no children

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were fantastic - the sound was too loud for most performances.

Children's Programs

NO children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward was terrific, the wait staff in the MDR and specialty dining areas were the best! Most personnel was awesome

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
We loved Eclipse. Although a little older, it's beautiful, layed out well and most of all, quiet. You can always find a quiet space on the gorgeous vessel

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Bed is comfortable....it was kept very clean.... good sized shower. Could use a little more storage. I missed the drawers that are usually in the closet. Balcony was fantastic - all cruise ships should put in tables like Celebrity on the balcony

Ship tip

When walking from bow to stern choose deck 4 or 5 so you don't have to walk down long aisles of cabins!

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

Vancouver is a beautiful city but since this was where the cruise ended there was little to no help to direct people where they needed to go. It made for a lot of confusion when trying to get to the right place to pick up rides

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Disembarkation was disappointing. Delays of getting luggage off the ship delayed passengers from getting off causing many people to miss connections. Communication was lacking. While they tried to inform, those updates came very far apart. We were told to wait in the theatre, but the theatre was closed. Our appx disembarkation time was 9:15 - we got off at 11
