Definitely a cruise I would recommend for those interested in getting a taste of South America. A trip of a lifetime that I am so glad we made.

Food and Dining

Upgrading to Aqua (spa) class is totally worth it. We were able to take advantage of Blu restaurant which was much less chaotic than the main dining room. Excellent and attentive service. Buffet was good but consistently crowded. Excellent meals in Murano and Tuscan Grill.
Onboard Activities

Appreciated the wine education/tasting courses. Persian spa was wonderfully relaxing. The glassblowing class experience is fun and love that you can create a personalized memento from the trip.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
I've never found cruise entertainment to be of good quality and there was certainly nothing stand out in the shows we saw onboard.
Service and Staff

The cabin was a great size with plenty of storage space.
Ship tip
Persian Garden is such a nice feature that we should have utilized more.
Did the market tour which was interesting but wouldn't necessarily recommend it. It seemed a bit disjointed and the fish market portion of it was a real joke. The tour included a private dinner back on the boat which was very nice and special.
Beautiful port and fun to walk around. Did the sea lion island tour which is actually just a boat ride. Would recommend skipping the formal tour and exploring the city on your own.
Lots of riding on the bus... Did the Toninos watching tour which was fun to see these small black and white dophins. The stop for the Welsh tea was okay. The tour was suppose to be in English; however, our guide was much more spanish with a bit of English translation.
TIP: avoid the bus tours to Tierra Del Fuego and rent a cab. You can get ahead of the crowds, visit the park and make all your stops in much less time and at your own pace.
Did the penguin island tour by ferry. While the island and penguin viewing was great - the Ferry ride was on a boat that appeared to be a garbage ferry. Very long uncomfortable boat ride. Would recommend one of the other means to get to the island.
Did a small group tour of the volcano and falls booked through Viator. Highly recommend the tour particularly if you are fortunate enough to have a clear and sunny day.
One of our favorite tours - Chilean wine tasting and winery visit with drop off at the airport. Visited two wineries which were excellent, with nice tours and tastings. The lunch at the second winery was excellent and very enjoyable.
