Overall, “Celebrity” presents a quality that exceeds most of the competition. I will add, that the “Perks” offered usually make the decision to use them, easier.

Food and Dining

We had received as a “Perk” the Premium Beverage Package, however, when orderering ‘water’, which was supposed to be “Evian”, we received the cheaper TRUE Water, which was given to Classic Beverage Guests. We were also, a little disappointed when ordering a “martini” in any other than the “Martini Bar”, when they were poured into a VERY SMALL Martini Glass.
Onboard Activities

I have Cruised over 40 times and the last 4, 3 of which were Celebrity. While I love most amenities of the Ship, I am very disappointed that they took the Treadmills, and moved them to the back third row, away from the full windows. As the MOST popular of the equipment, it was surely disappointing that the elliptical had taken over the FRONT window positions, with considerably less people using them and with far less machines, than the treadmills, which were continually occupied. I also tried to use the Persian Garden, just for one day, as even though I wanted a Massage, it was NOT included, even though I would have purchased the Massage. Other High Quality Resorts ALWAYS include the use of their Spa and it’s entire relaxing areas and steam rooms when purchasing a Spa Treatment. The cost for one day, was exorbitant.

Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
The Cabin, for the Price, is good. Good Pillows, Good Mattress, Good Towels, Clean and easy to maneuver, given the size. The one thing it needs is a Kuerig Machine for Coffee and Tea in your room. Having to order Room Service every morning is difficult, time consuming and arrives many times, late and cold. Very discouraging, when all you want is a cup of tea or coffee first thing in the morning.
Ship tip
Don’t miss “Q’Sene” for one dinner or..l...the Lawn Club and SUnset Bar. A Fvorite.
Hilo tour for $239.00 “Up in the clouds” was a Tour I would never had taken, had I known it would be 5 hours in the tight van with 12 people crammed in. We ALL complained at the end. There was not adequate explanation describing the Tour. We were so sorry we took it.
