We thoroughly enjoyed our (3rd) cruise with Celebrity! The Officers and Crew seem genuinely engaging and interested in helping you have a wonderful vacation. There are many offerings to choose from everywhere. It is your choice. During this cruise we enjoyed the contrast between 5 busy days in port in Hawaii and 5 days sailing across the Pacific. It is so sad to leave the ship--but we're currently planning 2+ more cruises with Celebrity.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
The check-in was very slow, disorganized, and inefficient--one of only 2 fails this cruise.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
AWESOME in selection, service, preparation, and taste. The only other fail of 2 this cruise was a sommelier named Augustinho. Realizing this, we switched to Sommelier "Suzana"-who was fantastic in taking care us on our Premium package(s.)
Onboard Activities

Alejandro sets the bar! We enjoyed many activities. Because of the wonderful food & drink, we visited the fitness center often.
Entertainment

We're a bit spoiled, having lived in Orange County, CA for many years.
Children's Programs
No children with us this trip.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
So many stars!!!! Franco, our room steward; Jhon, our Head Waiter, also assisted by Jonathan; Suzana, our sommelier, assisted by Roldan; Fernando, in the World Class Bar; Putu, in the 14th floor bar; Cervine, our smiling and capable Hostess. This was our 3rd Celebrity cruise--and each one has been a delight--currently, two more in planning. We are addicted to Cafe al Bacio. We discovered the Ensemble Lounge. The staff is talented, upbeat, hardworking, and helpful--almost without exception. Thank you to all for an amazing voyage!!!!

Absolutely!
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We enjoyed our midship Concierge (1) cabin. We were quite comfortable (and my huband is 6' 5" tall!) Franco did an outstanding job in taking care of us!
There was no visible lava flow, but we've enjoyed many visits to the incredible Volcano National Park. We did see the gas cloud from the volcano at night.
The port itself wasn't very pretty, but everything else is! Don't miss Volcanoes National Park!! The waterfalls and different climate zones are fascinating. Sorry we couldn't do a Mauna Kea night time visit--we were only there in full daylight. We did visit Imiloa--a museum dedicated to Pacific Voyagers. Not enough time there--we will return!
We enjoyed beautiful weather as we did a 2 day hop-on-hop off tour, stopping as many places as time allowed. We enjoyed the city, its' residents, its' food, and its' beautiful gardens. We hope to return!
