Review summary

Not enough seating at the buffet. It was a struggle finding seating especially at breakfast. The dinner service was very slow in the formal dining room with 2 hours on average and ended up going to the buffet. The port at Hilo, Hawaii was a dump. No tourist areas or shops. Ended up staying on the ship.

Since our first cruise in 1999 dinners in the MDR have always been 1.5 + hr. We used to finish just in time for the show. MDR is not a fast food venue.

I have not cruised celebrity, but two hours in the main dining room seems to be fairly common across most of Cruise Line’s now. I have cruise down Carnival, Royal Caribbean, and Holland America all within the past two years and two hours was the average in the main dining room each day.
