Review summary

If you are just starting to cruise and are middle age and above, you would find Celebrity a superior cruiseline. However, if you had been cruising before up to the end of the last decade, you will notice the deterioration in the quality of the onboard experience, especially in the food and in the entertainment, and even in the resource speakers.

Celebrity removed the sheer drapery from the veranda floor to ceiling glass door and window and just left a blackout curtain. To maintain privacy, especially at night when the cabin lights were on but even during the day, we had to close the blackout curtain. This made the veranda cabin feel like an interior cabin, no view and no natural light. This cost-cutting is extreme and illogical. It is so easy to peek from the adjoining verandas to our cabin and with today's cellphones, your private pictures could be on facebook without your knowledge and permission. It took the staff about 3 days to come up with a solution and Velcro a sheer curtain to our glass door and window,
