Review summary

This was our second time on this exact cruise --- line, boat, itinerary ! The only time since we started cruising 25 yrs. ago. That says everything. We find the boat, the staff, the food, the amenities suit our tastes from bistro coffee to an intimate casino, varied entertainment and comfortable, quiet lounges. The pool areas are very nice ... I go as a single as my husband can't be out in the sun for long periods. Was always able to find a lounge chair. This trip didn't use the Solarium pool but it is very nice for a reduced sun experience. We like the Aqua Spa cafe for lunch and Slush on sea days for fresh fruit alcoholic slushes !

Kept waiting for a menu at the Moonlight Sonata that we didn't like to go try out the specialty restaurants but never happened. Chauteaubriand the last night was great.

Onboard Activities

Bingo is expensive at $39 - $59 but you can use onboard credits. Have nice raffle prizes and cash prizes for winners. Only 3 games per time.

Entertainment

Different entertainment very day. Joe Gazarra was my favorite this trip. On board band is awesome and they show up a lot during the week.

Service and Staff

Had 3 staff at the Moonlight Sonata in particular that we got to know and really enjoyed. If they were at other sites throughout the day they always came bye & said high.

Ship Quality

Love the quiet spots that are available. Enough hot tubs so generally can find a spot. Solarium pool is a nice option for cooler days or reduced sun exposure.

Cabin / Stateroom

My husband has a mobility issue so being close to the elevator and at the rear of the boat was beneficial for movement. With 8 elevators in that bank, never had to wait long and I could use the elevators since we were generally on decks 12-14 or 4-5 ...

Did a Pirates Bay excursion thru Glory Tours. This is actually a beach club with food/drinks/clean restrooms and a great beach. Very reasonable and very nice - actually is within the city but as secluded as possible on this bay.
