short but nice by merckthomas

Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

We really enjoyed our cruising experience we went for 4 nights to key west and Nassau then back to ft. Lauterdale. I have to admit I was surprised at the number of people, but it was completely booked and because it was winter time, I believe everyone was trying to enjoy the weather on the decks. Other than decks and buffet the boat really was not that crowded. Beware if you have never cruised before that at dinner reservations the seat you with other groups and couples which was award and took some getting used to. Other than that the ship was beautiful, the staff was very polite and they keep you highly entertained the entire time with fabulous shows, casino, shopping etc. I would recommend anyone give cruising a chance.

4-Stars by minormath400

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This 4-day cruise was my very first. The ship was clean, the crew was organized, and the food was okay.  I would have given 5 stars if the menu had included some crab legs and lobster tails. Overall I had a very positive experience.Happy

Fabulous by coachbtf52

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

My wife and I had a terrific 4 days on our cruise on the Constellation. The staff was kind and went out of their way to help us in anything we needed. The entertainment was tremendous. WE attended the shows every night and enjoyed all of them. The rooms were more spacious than on other ships that we've been on. The entire ship was well taken care of. We would recommend Celebrity Cruises to anyone.

Bahama Cruise on the Celebrity Constellation by mdmaci

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This was our first cruise so we don't have anything to compare it to, but we really liked the ship and the staff and crew were so friendly and helpful.  Our room was a very nice size and very clean.  We got a room with a balcony which we would highly recommend.  We ate in one of the restaurants on the ship for most of our meals.  The food was excellent.  This ship probably offers less options than some of the newer ships but that was fine with us because we really wanted to relax on the "at sea" day.  There was a basketball court, one ping pong table, shuffle board, a casino, bingo, etc.  Pretty standard we are guessing.  The ship was very clean and fairly newly renovated.  There was a good mix of ages of people on the cruise.  Seemed like the majority was probably 30 to 50 year olds.  We would not hesitate to book another cruise with Celebrity.  Would probably try another ship just to try something new.  Happy cruising.

Best service ever! by larkspurwang

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Caribbean - Western

I was travelling with my parents the last week and we had a wonderful experience on Constellation. The buffet is served almost 24 hrs (it's bummer they didn't have lobster), the stateroom is cleaned twice a day and there were lots of shows and activities on the ship. The waiters and housekeepers are very professional.

Christmas Cruise by bspagna

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Very enjoyable but Constellation has less amenities compared to Solstice class ships.  Shows were great!  Staff was very friendly and always helpful.  Aqua Class and dining in Blu is definitely worth the upgrade. The Christmas Mass was disappointing compared to services attended previously. We had a really good trip but missed the luxuries which impressed us on the larger Solstice ship.  All in all this was a great Christmas cruise.

Stay away by dieselllc

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Clubs and bars understaffed, took 30 minutes to get a drink. Best bars closed most nights of the cruise, catering to Sunoco or other private groups. What a shame- we've been loyal to Celebrity for many years, would not give them another dime after being treated like excess baggage- and we went Aqua class, as always. Rip off- stay away!

Very Good Sailing by elainebertel9

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Caribbean - Western

It was a very relaxing cruise with smooth sailing! However due to boarding instructions by Deck No.#  to arrive at a certain time, we were caught in a terrible traffic jam and barely made the cruise! In future passengers should be allowed to arrive very early to avoid unforeseen hindrance.

Great service, great food, great entertainment and fair excursions by gdesautels

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Europe - Northern Europe

You can be sure by traveling with Celebrity that you will enjoy first class service, food and experience.  I would not recommend however to ncessarily book your excursions with Celebrity.  Groups are too large, excursions too traditional and quite expensive.  It''s recommended to search some alternatives on Internet. We had an excursion in St Petersburgh with another supplier (SPB) which was outstanding.

Great Iternery! by pearlmm

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Europe - Northern Europe

This was a fantastic selection of ports.  We had wanted to visit Amsterdam so this was he perfect beginning of our cruise. Although Berlin was a 3 hour bus ride from the port, we probably would never traveled to just Berlin.  The next stop was Talinn, Estonia, a charming town.  Of course, the highlight of the trip was 2 days in St Petersburg.  What a fantastic city.  The art and architecture was overwhelming.

To round out the trip. was Helsinki, Stockhom and Copenhagen, all delightful stops.

I prefer ships the size of the Constitution.  Its large enough to have the amenities I want and small enough that we could meet new friends and see family.  I found the food good and varied.  As a Captain Club member, I was pleased with the "goodies" that you have as a member.  We did have a plumbing problem, our shower leaked.  This was corrected and we were sent a bottle of wine as an apology for our inconvenience.  We had booked our bus from the port to the airport and were delighted to learn that our luggage would go directly to the airport where we would reclaim it. The departure was as easy as had been our embarkation.

Celebrity's Constellation showing its age by argela

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Europe - Northern Europe

The cruise itinerary was exactly as advertised, no complaints other than many of us would have like 2 nights in more ports.

The ship itself is showing its age. We had an outside cabin and there was visible rust on the window framing.  The bathroom tile was wiped clean but had not been deep scrubbed in a long time.  One day I took a rag, soaped it up and applied some muscle to cleaning the tile and sure enough, I was able to remove the "gray area".

We find the layout of the theatre area to be cumbersome.  Entering on the lower deck you must still walk down steps to the main seating area.  There are handrails, but they do not extend as far as they should.

Stay away from cabin 2023.  There is a wierd whistling noise at night that kept me awake for hours.  The room steward said it was the sound of the stabelizers.  Other cabin residents said they did not hear these noises.

One last word about Celebrity service.  We were bothered by fruit flies in our cabin and reported this.  Housekeeping sent a crew to more thoroughly clean the cabin.  Our steward left us a bottle of wine to apologize.  The next day another fruit fly landed in a drink as we entered the cabin.  The following day Guest Services called to ask if our cabin was now satisfactory.  We related the latest fruit fly story and said it appeared to be the final fly.  Guest Services treated us to a specialty dining dinner of our choiceto make up for our bad experience.  That was taking responsibility and we appreciated it.

Great Ship! by PalmCityJeff

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Caribbean - Western

This is a very attractive, well designed ship with an excellent staff.  The stateroom was small but comfortable and well appointed.  The food in the MDR, buffet and specialty restaurants was superb. I really enjoyed the ports of call (Key West and Cozumel) and would do this itinerary again.

Short Break with Great Food and Entertainment by verti94

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Caribbean - Western

Really enjoyed this trip.  The ship is tastefully decorated.  Food was excellent, especially the Tuscan Grille, which I highly recommend.  Also the crepes in Bistro 5 are incredibly good!  Crew is very happy on this ship and it is evidently well run--kudos to Captain Nicholas!  The entertainers on board are very talented and the acrobats were definitely the big hit on board!

Sadly my only issues were with Cruise 411 as my originally quoted price was not the one they booked, nor did I receive the $25 on board credit that was promised.

Super stable ship in rough seas!! by affonsofamily

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Constellation / Destination: Caribbean - Western

We experienced rough seas but barely felt them! This ship was amazing !! Food was top notch, service excellent! Entertainment  was incredible! The singers were great, and  the dancers....how could they move so fast and in sync with each other ?! The airealists kept us spellbound !  A couple of drawbacks; smoking allowed on the aft deck eating area. That closed the outdoor eating for us: the smell was overwhelming. The emergency evacuation drill was very disorganized : you could not see or hear the instructions.

We rented a car on Cozumel and drove around the island to some spectacular beaches!!!!  It was a great trip and would sail with Celebrity again!
