Review summary

This was our 2nd cruise this year on the Century. This ship is not for everyone... if you rate the ship based on its size, this is not for you. The Century is 15 years old and probably has 2 more seasons before she gets sold off, she is small and showing her age a bit but overall still an excellent ship. We like her because the bang for the buck is excellent and we are not into the mega ships. Food was excellent and plentifull, service was great (although our cabin attendant Metron #4102 left much to be desired compared to our previous experience on the Celebrity). This was a short 5 day cruise to Roatan and Cozumel. We had never been to Roatan so we were not sure of what to expect. In short, unless you book an excursion this place is absolutely boring and a waste of time. There is NO shopping whatsoever near where the ship docked and from talking to other couples there was not much anywhere else on the island. Diving and snorkeling seem to be the main activities. The streets are dirty, most structures lacked running water and it reminded me of some foul smelling backstreet in Korea. There was not a single restaurant we would have dare stepped foot in. Cozumel on the other hand is beautiful with much to offer all who visit. Overall great cruise, good ship, great food/service... just skip Roatan, Honduras altogether!
