Disappointing!

Sail Date: November 22, 2010

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was clean and well-maintained, but the facilities were definitely those of an old ship. Although staff were always pushing something for you to buy, the service in the bars was shoddy. On two occasions, there was no one to wait on us. The food was definitely a cut below what we've had on a Princess and Disney Cruise lines. It was always presented beautifully, but the quality was underwhelming. And there is NO excuse for routinely running out of breakfast food in a buffet line. Some of the entertainers were Las Vegas quality -- very professional and engaging. Plenty of activities to choose from.

Pros: Entertainment - outstanding juggler and comedian

Cons: Food - routinely ran out of food at the breakfast buffet; dinner was of mediocre quality and selections were generally uninventive and underseasoned

Recommends Celebrity Century? No.

Cabin / Stateroom
Well-designed.
Ship Quality
The ship was clean and well-maintained, but the facilities were definitely those of an old ship.
Food and Dining
Uninventive, dull, and underseasoned.
Service and Staff
Stateroom service/housekeeping was excellent. DIning room service was average. Bar service was either pushy or non-existent.
Entertainment
Great enetertainment and lots of activities -- something for everyone.
Cozumel, Mexico
Great snorkeling on a well-maintained boat with very friendly crew.
Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Nothing very unique in terms of Caribbean venues. Snorkeling was disappointing in terms of marine life.
