We are sold on celebrity!

Sail Date: May 03, 2010

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

Truly enjoyable cruise, far better than anything we have ever experienced with Carnival, NCL or Royal (still looking for our 1st Princess cruise). Guests were mainly couples, 40 years of age and older, middle to upper middle class. Celebrity caters to a certain crowd which is evident by the entertainment offered. Broadway shows musical groups, The Newlywed Game, etc. This is NOT a line you sail on for hard core parties or night life... go to Carnival for that. My life and I cruise to relax due to our stressful jobs and Celebrity is the PERFECT line for that. We loved it!

Pros: Food, Attentiveness of Staff, Port of Call Schedule

Cons: So-so entertainment

Recommends Celebrity Century? Yes!

So-so entertainment choices but excellent quality musicians.
Ship Quality
She is 15 years old now and according to the staff, she will only see 2-3 more seasons before being retired. She is still a beautiful and classy ship!
Food and Dining
Unbelieveable buffets and dining room experience. Truly the best food we have enjoyed so far.
Cabin / Stateroom
Classy, clean, large and modern with large bathrooms.
Service and Staff
Unmatched personal attentiveness... the staff made the ship superior to any!
Playa Del Carmen, Mexico
Noche Com Beach Resort was awesome. It will run you about $75 bucks for a couple, but access is limited to 100 people daily. Just like the Corona commercials!
Cozumel, Mexico
Great shopping.
Key West, Florida
Conch Train Tour was fun.
George Town, Grand Cayman
We booked our own excursion through Fat Fish Tours... highly recommended!
Don't Miss: Stingray City!!!
