Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Loved that there were 4 different main dining rooms! Each had a little different ambiance and flavor! All were excellent! We also went to 3 specialty restaurants. Eden, Raw on 5, and Fine Cut Steakhouse. Eden was the best of the 3. We were a little disappointed with Fine Cut. Steaks could have been a little better quality and they did not have good lobster/shrimp options for surf and turf. We loved the sommeliers at each! Nice paring and always refilling the glass!

Onboard Activities

Fitness center was great! Pools and hot tubs always clean. Luigi the cruise director was very entertaining! Music all day long was great! Lots of slots at the casino!

Entertainment

We enjoyed the evening shows and the all day entertainment!

Service and Staff

Absolutely superb! Eka was our steward. He was professional, respectful and took amazing care of our room! Loved the turn down service with the chocolates on the pillows… it’s the little things. All of the waiters and staff personnel were fantastic. Always smiling and willing to help with anything. Multiple levels above what we received on RC Symphony last year! It seemed that everyone loved their job!

Ship Quality

I cannot say enough about the cleanliness of this ship!! We loved everything about this ship!

Cabin / Stateroom

We had a Prime Concierge room. Loved this cabin! Good size and lots of storage! We loved that we could control the lights blinds and room temperature from the app on our phone. This was only our 3rd cruise but we have always gotten a balcony. Of course, we had the controversial infinite veranda on this cruise. There are always pros and cons to everything. Overall, we liked it! I like morning coffee in my room. We never would have sat on the balcony every am this cruise because of the wind and the temps were cool. But.. we felt like we were sitting on a balcony.. we could open the window to get the feeling and sounds of the ocean but we were well protected. I also loved how it expanded the size of the room. The captain only locked down the window when they were cleaning the windows. I have no problem with the captain locking the windows..it’s done for the safety of the passengers. On our last cruise we came with our adult children.. we loved that we could open up the balconies between our rooms which were not connecting. This obviously cannot be done with the infinite veranda. That was the only negative we saw. However… It would not stop me from getting these rooms on a future cruise.

Ship tip

It’s a bit more formal than RC or NCL. Bring nicer clothing for dinner. Avoid the any negativity that you might be reading. It’s a beautiful ship with great food and entertainment. The rooms are beautiful! Enjoy all the art work around the ship!
