Our cabin was lovely as usual however as they say first impressions are everything and our first impression with our stateroom attendant was definitely not a great one! Once we boarded the ship we went directly to our room to drop our bags and while in our room dropping bags our stateroom attendant used her card to come in directly after us, walked right in and rudely said “The staterooms are not open yet” to which we replied “we are aware, we are just here dropping our bags off” I had a few more words for her sharing my thoughts about her approach and then last thing I said was “we are well aware how things work and since when are we not allowed to drop our bags off to our room and pickup our room keys”. She then apologized and put her head down and left. Not a great start to the cruise but I can understand… they have a short period of time to do turnarounds and they not need to be held up but clearly she either was not aware guests were permitted to do that or she forgot.

Ship tip

So many great hidden areas of the ship to relax and unwind, don’t hesitate to explore because you might be missing out on something great!

We are staying on for the next sailing but if it’s anything like every other time I am sure it will be easy and quick.

You knew your cabin was not ready yet, but you had to berate the steward for informing you of that. I don’t imagine that you had impeccable service because of your elitist attitude.

Why oh Why do some people act so privileged? Drop off bags means drop them off inside the door. She was not wrong
