Complimentary continental breakfast. Jiji's and Capitano are complimentary for lunch, only from 12-2:30pm. Go there on embarkation night for dinner $24 and get a comp bottle of wine. Cloud9 Thermal Spa is a nice respite, but spa services are way overpriced. Long lines for entry to Punchliner/Limelight Lounge. Late night in piano bar is a little raunchy. Seaday brunch is excellent, order the Voyage Burger. Lobster night was great but Prime Rib was hit or miss. Very smoky in the casino, dirty ashtrays everywhere. There is a small non smoking casino. If you want to learn more about jewelry shopping, attend the Insider lecture and get the VIP card, although the line was extremely long. The fitness staff was very late and very non-enthusiastic every day.
Embarkation

I got to the port at 11:45 am. It was raining and I had to stand in a long queue outside. It did move along at an acceptable pace. Once I got through security the process was quick. I got in line to board at 1:15. There was a steady line of people on the gangway. I found muster quickly and the time was 1:25 so they were starting to open the cabins. My luggage had not arrived as we got close to sailaway. I noticed one that looked like mine outside a cabin at the other end of the hall and it was mine. There was still trash in my cabin and I wasn't able to contact housekeeping by phone but I finally met my steward in the hall and from that point forward he took good care of me.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Jiji's night one was reasonably priced at $24 and included a comp bottle of wine. Service there was excellent. I also went there for the comp lunch and it was good. Buffet selections were very good. The deli sandwiches were made fresh. The pizza was just ok. The dining room food was good. On lobster night the lobster was very tender and delicious but the prime rib was awful. Cantina, Guy's burgers, and Pig & Anchor were acceptable. Seaday brunch was very good, the Voyage burger was great! Service was good for the most part.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Pools and hot tubs were very crowded. I wished I had a Havana cabin for the exclusivity. The fitness staff was very poor. The thermal spa was great. The accupunturist was very pushy.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The entertainers were extremely friendly but the shows were only average. The first night the piano player made a great impression, but the nightly shows got a little repetitive. The comedians were funnier than others I have seen. I was glad they didn't focus on racial humor.
Children's Programs

Everyone was very helpful.
Ship Quality

Best Carnival ship I have been on (comparing to Celebration, Freedom, Conquest, and Paradise).
Cabin / Stateroom

It had some trash in it when I boarded, but otherwise it was good. I wish they would upgrade the shower curtain to a door.
Ship tip
Book a Cloud9 spa or Havana cabin to have an uncrowded area to escape to. The sofas on deck 11 facing the Seaside Theater are a great space to relax in the shade.
Since there is no adjacent beach area it needs something else like a lazy river pool. They should make a deal with the Senator Hotel Resort and build a walkover.
