We took friends who were first time cruisers with us. They enjoyed the trip but thought at times the lines were long (ship was sold out) and thought the dinner options were not what they have heard from past cruisers. A cruise is really what you make out of it yourself.

Worst experience we have ever had boarding a ship. No warning about the long lines and waiting over 45 minutes in the rain. Your arrival time did not matter. Everyone showed up at the same time and they were not honoring the times you signed up for. An easy text message would have been nice to give us heads up.

The breakfast and lunch options were really good. Dinner was lacking in the options unless you wanted to pay extra. Portions are definitely smaller than what they use to be. Meat quality varied for our table when others order the exact same meal. We did anytime dining and at the beginning, the wait times were really off by 45 minutes or so.

We like the Skyride and laying out on the deck. Hot tubs were always full.

I liked the layout of the Carnival Celebration much better, but I like this theater style seating the best. The food was very hard to find at times especially the Cucina and Asian restaurant.
Cabin / Stateroom

The inside of the cabin was great! The location on Deck 10 was wonderful, but I would not recommend this particular room. We were above the IMax theater and all you could hear were the booms into the late night. They really should end the movies by 11 PM. Our room was behind the elevators. When the ship would rock, all you heard was banging noises. If you are a sound sleeper, then this may not bother you.
Ship tip
You will enjoy this ship if you have been on smaller ones. Coming off of the new Celebration, this was good, but we like the Celebration much better.
