Review summary

I have sailed on the Vista 3 times now and each time has not been a good experience. I have another cruise booked on this ship later this year and will be trying to roll it to another ship. I have sailed 15 times and on 6 different carnival ships and the vista has been my worst experience each time. I have introduced cruising to approx 20 new Passengers and had another 5 with me on this cruise and they were not impressed with the vista at all.

The only person that was outstanding was Edgardo our room steward. His service was spot on every day and he was extremely helpful and our stateroom was immaculate everyday. He was awesome. Main dining room staff were just okay some staff were just plain rude and we were told by one staff member it wasn’t her problem then I addressed the issue with a staff member in a white jacket and was told it wasn’t his department and so it appears no one wanted to deal with the issue.

We did the excursion All Inclusive Passion Island and we had a great time. Our hosts were Leo and Miguel were absolutely fabulous and made sure all was done for us and we were very well taken care of. We had a great day

Disembarkation

Terrible. As a platinum member I was given a letter to be in the reflections restaurant by a certain time. The restaurant was locked so we couldn’t get in. The staff allowed people to totally just crowd the staircases so that if there had been an emergency we would have been in trouble The staff was rude and priority people were not allowed to get through to where they had to be for disembarking. It was a total dismal failure and extremely disappointing. The only staff member who did all he could do to help
