this will be our last cruise with Carnival. Gave them several chances and over it.

had to wait at airport 2 hours for another bus as they didnt have enough for transfers. an hour late taking off as there was no hot water and they had to fix it first

room was not cleaned for two days, customer service lies to your face so they can push you along and not help you. zero customer service internet didnt work correctly and tv as off and on.

common areas were very nice. our balcony was filthy and rusty, kept getting sprayed from some liquid from above us presumably from the galley dish washer???
Cabin / Stateroom

the room was not cleaned for two days. third day they finally cleaned it and gave us new towels. the balcony was filthy, rusty and an oil or soapy mist over it. location to restaurants, elevators etc was perfect. realized we were under the restaurant but didnt realize that was the galley and the clanking of loud pans or something metal crashing in the middle of night was startling.
did not do excursion this time as we already did them and the one we wanted to do was to long and not available after the cruise changed their itinerary
Sounds to me like you did very little due deligence..on location of cabin..surrounding.....
Do you really need others to make you happy.....over my 26 cruises..we have had engines die...people jump...storms...and we still find a way to be happy...
Sorry you had such a rough time. Just got off vista in December. Service was a little slow due to a new crew onboard. Everything else was great! No issues. Love Carnival! Sailing in 3 days again!
You need to do some strong studying before selecting a room. Especially if you use your stateroom for more than sleeping, washing up and changing your wardrobe which is what many cruisers do. They get the least expensive stateroom and spend their hard earned finances on other stuff.
We entertain and spend we extensive time in our stateroom which is why we get suites as an example.
Perhaps your picker is broke when it comes to vacations.
Personally I try to steer clear of being anywhere near the dining room and galley when picking my room.
Thanks for the review. It sounds like cruising isn’t for you since you have 2 cruise reviews and didn’t enjoy much on either of them. Most people love it, but it’s not for everyone.
