Service and Staff

Our room steward was great! Bar staff friendly. There were a couple of times we felt uncomfortable with a few of the homosexual staff that were pretty in your face about their sexual orientation. One of the Cloud 9 spa employees continued to say he was a girl in front of a room full of ladies that were gathered to learn more about the spa services. If you have to repeatedly say, "I'm a girl, like you ladies!" No you're not and your sexual orientation has nothing to do with getting me to purchase spa treatments. The MC needed to tone down his Gay especially in front of kids during the family friendly shows in the Limelight Lounge.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean. I enjoyed that I didn't have to walk through the casino since it was not on deck 5 where the majority hang outs are.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Clean and spacious

Ship tip

Bring your own straws. They ran out of straws for frozen drinks!

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

Disembarkation

Carnivel needs to tell shop personnel to let cruisers know there is a limit of 4 bottles of alcohol you can leave the ship with. I had to relinquish 2 bottles to be "destroyed" by port personnel.

Being constantly told a person is gay is unnecessary. What if I constantly said I’m heterosexual? That wouldn’t be appreciated or appropriate. I am not uncomfortable just don’t think it is okay for one group and not the other. Asking a person to not mention it every few sentences is not inappropriate. Why do I need to know your orientation?

Glad you enjoyed.

Being “different” is not the problem,it’s when you have to constantly remind people you are a homosexual. Most of the time it’s to receive recognition or special treatment.

This is so appalling!

It's pretty sad that you're "uncomfortable" with people who are different than you. Maybe your vacations are better spent at Applebees 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m just over here like 😧 after reading this. I’m literally speechless.
