It was fun, family had a blast but beware of the elevators and make sure your cabin isn’t anywhere near an exterior doors due to the HVAC system being overwhelmed. Also if you’re on deck six be mindful about the arcade and movie screen area, my understanding is that a lot of kids were running up and down the hallways and pounding on doors.

Wow, the lobby deck and atrium are just too small to handle the massive amount of vacation cruisers who are coming on board. With both doors opened and people walking on board the HVAC system just doesn’t work worth a damn in this Texas heat and humidity.
The elevators.....I can’t even begin to describe the absolute nightmare that the forward elevators were for the first day of the cruise. Even afterwards after everyone was on board and finally situated in their cabins it was still a complete cluster of mayhem. It literally was easier to get onto any elevators that showed up on the floor you were on and go for a ride and sooner than later you’d get to the floor you wanted to get too

Food overall all was good. Lido deck had a decent selection of foods.
Loved the Blue Iguana taco and burritos bar. Tried the Italian specialty restaurant for lunch one day and it was really good.

The room itself was awesome. Our room stewardess Mary was absolutely wonderful and kept everything super clean!!! Everyday she’d leave a towel animal for our daughter!!!
I had a issue with how hot the room felt. I figured that being so close to the automatic sliding glass door that led to the deck right above the pool the humidity and heat just overwhelmed the AC system in our room. I know for sure that the hallway always felt hotter then most of the other cabin areas on the ship.
Ship tip
Cut through the restaurant on the Lobby Deck to get to the midship elevators. You’ll see the entrance to the restaurant to the left of the atrium as you board the ship. This way you don’t have to have your blood pressure raised to dangerous levels.
We did the Stingray and turtle excursion and it was a blast!!! Booked it through Carnival and wasn’t disappointed whatsoever!! Our bus driver gave us a running commentary as he drove us to each destination!! Our Captain and his crew on the boat to the Stingray area were very professional and had their job down to a science. They really seemed to care about not harming the Stingrays and making sure their passengers were kept safe!!
Didn’t do anything other then get off and walk to the little market stalls they have right out by the terminal. Vendors are pushy and will not leave you alone even if you politely decline their invite to look at what they have.
