Review summary

We enjoyed our cruise, however we will never cruise again while kids are out of school, and unfortunately it's not all the kids fault - parents think the ship is a babysitter and they run wild!! Our room issues were listed above and we found the ship to be confusing - normally after a day or 2 you figure things out, but we were still getting turned around on the final day and we are seasoned cruisers. We will sail her again, but be careful our cabin choices and time of year

Ship tip

don't pick the Cove Balcony - we were located right under the kitchen and woken up every morning at 4:47am to banging pots and pans - also they have parties in the Atrium that we could hear all night long, as that was above us as well

There are always kids on ships. Sure more during vacations and holidays, but many take their kids out of school, or they home school. I love my kids, but sometimes you need a break from them with your spouse or friends.

I made this mistake a few years back. I didn't realize that is was the week before Easter. Our room attented told us the kids on the ship did $6,000.00 in damage. The parents need to put a leash on their kids if you take them on vacation. Every time my husband and I wanted to play mini golf of walk the track there was a kid that would bug us or would be running wild. So now we are booked on 14 day cruise in the NCL haven. Hope for a better trip.

Kids need a vacation too πŸ˜©πŸ˜‚

We do our best to avoid school vacations. Another thing to be aware of is Spring Breaks with college students. They can treat the ship like a dorm. Glad you will cruise again during a more adult time frame!

We loved cruising with our kids and carnival has wonderful kids clubs. However i totally agree any kids problems r the parents. They figure they cant lose em on a ship so they turn em loose. Now that ours r grown we love the great prices we get cruising when the kids r in school πŸ˜‰
