Review summary

Too many people, carnival seems to go for quantity vs quality in every aspect. Just doesn't work for our family. Seems they treat their guests like a heard of cattle.

Embarkation

1 out of 5
The cruise transfer people left early, were supposed to be there till 2:30 I even called to make sue because our flight was delayed and we got to the transfer station at 2:25...had to pay uber to get to the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The drink service is extremely slow, we didn't buy the drink package or I would have really been disappointed. Food was all buffet quality, except Ji JI, that was good.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
The activities are not organized well, poor quality, and show times don't make sense for families. The piano bar was the best thing we found, but it was only open one time during the cruise.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Didn't get to see much due to the schedule, and baby sitting for toddlers was only 10pm-2am...

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
The kids club was nice, and Seuss parade was fun.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff people were great, especially the people in the family harbor lounge. Breska even helped with our twins while we ate.

Ship Quality

2 out of 5
Isn't a high end build, materials, carpets, walls all seem like it was from the 90-2000s. Surprised how much wear the ship already had in 1 year. Looked 5-10 years old.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Our cabin was nice, plenty of room. No light switch in walk in closet, so had to turn all lights on. Very annoying when others are sleeping.

Ship tip

If you are a family, I would go with the mouse! Unless you are wanting a budget cruise with low expectations, it's not for you. So many frustrating things they just don't get.

Aww! That's sad to hear. Sounds like the issue was more about cruising with TWIN toddlers!! I see how that can get crazy real quick. We went with our 11 month old and thankfully we had our 17 yo help watch him sleep while we went out to enjoy the shows. The Vista was amazing for us and our family of 6. Lots of patience and flexibility required when traveling with youngsters.

So how many cruise have you been on? Nothing on your profile! Might care more about your negative post if you had something to back it up to! Been on the Vista disembarking was a breeze so was embarkation! Excellent food choices at the speciality restaurants definitely not buffet! MDR has good choices as well, same with Guys burgers, pig and and anchor the list goes on and on! No pleasing some people that just want to complain and ship is definitely not poor quality it is a beautiful ship!
