T3 beautiful, tropical ports on a ship that takes 3 Days to really see in its entirety. Expensive, but satisfying.
Lots of opportunity for romantic experiences and outdoor or indoor activities.
Embarkation

Carnival staff was engaged and ready at the airport.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
Every dining experience was excellent, even the buffet that I typically avoid. So many improvements have been implemented, and it shows. Guys Pigand Anchor wins hands down for casual dining. Horizons Dining in the evening and for Sea day brunch was 5 Star!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
If you get bored or lonely on the Vista, there’s something wrong with you. There were several people cruising alone and having a blast.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The crew wears many hats and have many talents. Always a pleasure.
Children's Programs
No Kids. Yay!
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
I have to give the service professionals 5/5 because 90% of them are truly into it. Some of the Europeans with English Language challenges are mean and rude because of the barrier, most of the staff are not Americans, but they try very hard to understand and be patient with requests and questions despite language barriers. It is also easy to designate the staffs country of origin because it is clearly written on their name tags. Just in case anyone felt singled out, it’s only because the way they treated gusts was obviously different, especially elderly people. Little patience was shown...
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The layout like most carnival vessels is vast with hidden gems everywhere. My advice is meet any teenager and ask for directions, they learn every twist and turn on day 1.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Extended Balcony cabin was spacious enough for me and my linebacker sized husband. It was constantly cleaned and freshened daily. Very nicely designed and decorated as well.
Ship tip
USE THE MAP! Maps are everywhere, they’ll help you find everything. Also just get out of your cabin and explore!
We did not take an excursion so the vendors were very aggressive. However, we met a police officer who introduced us to a local couple who we talked with on the port and learned about the local culture and history. That was a huge highlight.
Our glass bottles were placed in the care of Carnival stafff, and obviously thrown, or dropped. We went home with vodka soaked luggage and broken glass in boxes. Upsetting and costly. About $175 worth of merchandise was destroyed before we even collected our luggage.
Don't be so quick to blame the cruise line it may not have been the Carnival staff but the longshoremen on the pier that broke your glass mdse. Anything glass must be well protected just like you were going to put them on an airplane, or carry them off yourself.
FYI - I personally not a fan of Carnival but I will defend them for their work.
