Had a good time and It was an experience on the visita but next time we will book a different ship. We will definitely being visiting Jamaica again. If you do find yourself on the visita I suggest the serenity deck late at night. The peace and quite and star light sky's laying in the comfy beds are a must.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Other then waiting outside in the Miami heat for about 15 mins getting in was rather simple and smooth.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The food quality compared to our last cruise was in my opinion lacking. Also had to wait longer to be served. Out of the 6 nights only once were we in and out around 1 hour where the other nights we were there for almost two waiting on food.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The activities we did do, like the skytack we waited in the lines longer then the ride took.
We got a spa room to give us access to the spa amenities but it was always crowded. They over sold the VIP package for non spa room guest. Did not like that part at all.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
The main shows and comedy shows were all very good and very entertaining
Children's Programs
No kids
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Just about all the crew members and service personal were almost helpful and in a good mood. Although they seemed over worked.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Kept walking through areas of the ship that smelled like dirty cleaning water or dirty rag.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Cabin was good didn't hear much noise outside of it and service personal always made it clean and smelling good.
Ship tip
It's a big ship but all they did was add more rooms to carry more passengers. Everything else is the same. Seems like there is less crew to fulfill the duties of all the extra ppl on board.
Nice suggestion. And just in case you do cruise on the Vista again, and you go to your quiet little hideaway, and you see 674 fellow cruisers up there - it is your fault for telling everyone (lol).
