Review summary

I really enjoyed a lot of things on this cruise, the staff was fabulous, the food, amazing! The ship itself was clean and in good condition. What I didn't care for was the fact that I purchased the "bubbles" (unlimited soda) and had to go to a bar every time I wanted one. (Room service wouldn't deliver me a soda at one point). I also didn't like the pools, there were only 2, and it was either barley cover your feet with water, or be in 6 ft. of water. There was also a very strong, pungent smell the entire time, I wasn't sure if this was normal though, so I don't know if I can report that as a complaint? The IMAX theater was wonderful, so were the shows, and again, the staff was phenomenal! Good experience for my first time!

I would recommend seeing if your guests have medical equipment for sleeping, since there are no plugs close to the bed, we had to request one. It was delivered immediately.

Ship tip

Elevator wait times were long, if you have a hard time walking, I recommend a wheelchair or something portable you can sit on while waiting.

Never experienced any smells when we were on the Vista! And actually there are 3 pools if you include the Havana pool area! In the evening it's for anyone to use and during the day just for Havana cabin cruisers! Well worth the extra money just like having your own private pool and bar we did this and a great option. You have to be older than 12 to stay in a Havana cabin!

I do not like Carnivals bubbles program either and will probably not purchase again. We recently cruised the Magic had cabins on deck 1 and 11 and also had terrible smell in hallway only the entire trip.

I am hearing nice reviews of the IMAX. Not so good on most everything else you touched on.
