Review summary
This was my 6th cruise since 2009. As big and new as the Vista is, this was not my best cruise. I know they designed and decorated with modern America in mind. Too plain. I did not like that they had tablecloths only on elegant nights. A few times we were seated and they did not have enough place settings. Twice our butter knives were missing. We had to keep asking for our drinks and they mixed up our appetizers and entrees first night. I was disappointed in the boat itself. The pros were the Seafood Shack, even if they did not make an authentic lobster roll. Real NE rolls have no mayo or celery. Although good, was not what I expected. Crab legs were very good. Our balcony got very wet one morning, not a port day. That was a no no. Since the Vista sailed for the first time only 10 months ago, I am hoping the kinks will be fixed. And my niece and I had connecting rooms, but not connecting balconies. That is a serious design flaw. Cove balcony cabin 2283 and 2285. I will probably not cruise the Vista again. I do love the Elation and the Dream.

Ship tip
If you like a big pool, you will be disappointed. The pools on the lido are small. And the hot tub was barely warm. There are what we called "speed bumps" in the main walkways. I don't remember those on the other ships. The excursion desk team were awesome! Unorganized check in for you time dining
