Review summary

It is a nice ship.  how can you complain about a 2016 ship.  However I am a return guest of carnival and have been on two other ships they were new at the time when we sailed.  And in both of those ships the grand pramanade and dining halls, and pretty much all the show places were all grand and there was a shock and awe when you saw them.  You couldnt imagine how big and grand and awesome in size everything was.  The carnival vista is a bigger ship but they shrunk everything including the main entrance which was the big shock and awe now is a entrance that leads to a large bar.  It was a nice ship but all they did was shrunk everything including ceiling heights in places and cramped as many cabins as they could into the ship.  Cant blame them for wanting to make hundreds of thousands more per sailing to pay for these billion dollar ships but they should keep in mind that the reason for repeat business is what got them there in the first place which was the awesome ships prior where the shock and awe was impressive.  I am a repeat customer and brought on first timers on the cruise they like it so much we are booking the next cruise days after getting off this cruise but we will try royal caribean this time to see what they have to offer on their new ships, we have sailed with them in the past as well.  If a carnival employee is reading this feel free to contact me.

cabin was as expected from previous cruises, didnt spend much time there. a little more spaces or shelves would have been nice, but that ads cost for them, i understand.

There is something about an elegant ship...

I left my review right before reading yours and seems we feel the same. I was a bit disappointed too. I missed the elegance, the glass elevators. I love the Elation and the Dream. Going on the Triumph end of April.
