Everything about that cabin was a total disaster! I’ll first start with the restroom, the toilet was filthy! I mean there was a permanent black nasty ring that was there. It was so stink and I hated when I had to use it. I talked to the Room Stewart and he honestly told me that the toilet was almost 20 years old and it was never changed! Imagine the pure disgust I felt and embarrassment I felt trying to surprise my wife of 18 years with a cabin like so. Moving on to the main areas of the cabin, the sofa was so hard that it hurt to sit on! And to add injury to insult it was also stink!!! The bed was doable, but moving out to the balcony, that was so sad. I just had my son 6 months ago and after being married so long and finally being blessed with a child all I could imagine was sitting on the balcony with my wife of 18 years and my very first born and enjoying the beauty of the ocean. That was short lived because it was old and looked dirty as well. I asked about that also and was told that the wood on the balcony was just as old as the restroom . This was unacceptable on so many levels, looking in my wife’s eyes I felt like I failed when in all reality carnival cruise line failed us as a family! I saved up and spent my hard earned money on this dream vacation with my family of three only to be let down! I’m writing all of this and honestly I’m hoping that someone gets in contact with me to try to make this wrong a right. Don’t take my word for it, go and take a look at cabin 9257 for yourself! Something has to be done because again, this is not acceptable.

Sounds like a first time cruiser, sorry it didn't work out as you planed. It usually never does work out when you board ANY ship on ANY line with a preconceived notion of expectations, unfortunately that is a recipe for disaster. Each ship is just like a person each has their own spirit you have to learn which ones you like and have fun.

We were on same cruise and had great time. We loved our ocean view cabin. We were in second floor and we were kept awake by crying baby most nites in cabin near us. Leave babies at home. Over all great cruise

Our family went on here in August we all loved it out of 34 it was 26 people first time on ship we didnt have any problems ship was overall clean for its age

I learned a lot from this review. First, I'm supposed to be replacing the toilets in my house every year. I'm ashamed to say that I have several that I haven't changed in years. I also learned that when I go out on my balcony I was supposed to be looking in the corners and floor. Silly me I have always looked at the ocean! I also learned that carnival picks random cabins in their fleet and replace the sofa cushion with cement blocks rather than the comfortable cushions in every other cabins we ever had. Also learned when you book a short booze cruise you end up on a short booze cruise. Enlightened.

We were just on in October. Yes the ship is older but nothing like the description. I loved my balcony. The ports are great only wish we had more time at key west The service was great. We knew it was a short cruise but didn’t disappoint in any way. Maybe cruising isn’t for you

great first cruise experience! snorkeling with sea turtles and in the Mayan Cenote caves was AMAZING!

The cruise was awesome as a whole , there was so much to take part of on and off the ship !
