The cruise was fun. It was my first carnival cruise and I didn't have the greatest experience since it skipped the private island etc. But the staff made up for that. The staff made the cruise fun and enjoyable! I would definitely book with carnival again.

The main dining room was great! The staff went above and beyond. We were treated like royalty.
The burger joint and the Cantina restaurant were great. The buffet was good but we didn't eat there very much to know if the food was different every day.

The adults only area was great. We thoroughly enjoyed that area!! There was always plenty to do on the ship.

Comedy club was great. Musicians were excellent. The piano bar was a lot of fun! Latin dancing was fun too!

The ship was beautiful but in need of some TLC. The pools and whirlpools looked dirty because they are so old.
Cabin / Stateroom

The bed was uncomfortable so I requested a mattress topper and that seemed to help. The room was clean but the carpet appeared very old and probably needs cleaning or replacing.
Ship tip
Be prepared to skip port if you have rough seas. We skipped the private island which was very disappointing. Use the adults only area if you are not traveling with children you will not be disappointed!
The ship skipped this port because of rough waters. However, after making an immediate decision to skip it the ship began traveling and the waters calmed within a half hour to an hour. Can't believe we didn't stand by for a while to see if the waters would calm before skipping the port.
This port is horrible. The people are rude and very pushy. We did not do an excursion. If I ever visit this island again I will either stay on the ship or book an excursion that takes me off of Nassau to another island.
Leaving the ship was a total mess! There were no staff around to tell you what floor to get off and there were hundreds of people jammed in small areas. The elevators only worked when staff would accompany you to go up or down. Disaster!
