Review summary

I doubt we will cruise via carnival again. The buffet food was horrible and cold, the other specialty food was mediocre at best, the pool area was a zoo with a DJ who was far too loud and played rap who many people do not care for. The drink packages were far too expensive. The main dining room was actually very good and good food too. All said, I spent a lot of money on this and one port they could not stop at, the food was poor, service was ok, and the boat is dated and looks as though it is not well maintained... Overall, a less than expected experience.

I don’t ever recommend buffet, as well as the fact that ships often cannot stop at Half Moon Cay, if you checked reviews on this app you’d see that from lots of cruisers unfortunately. I like the poolside DJ on carnival, but understand it’s not for everyone. I find carnival drink package to be cheaper than any other cruiseline. Hope you enjoy your next cruise more, I find the food on Celebrity to be superior to Carnival.

That is too bad you did not enjoy yourself. In 12 Carnival cruises I can honestly say I was not disappointed onece. If you did not stop at a port that was because it was unsafe to do so. I am sure you recieved credit of port fees and maybe a little something else. I agree about the music sometimes. I just don't go. Pleny6of other places on board.
