Review summary

Overall it was a very fun time! Already booked again!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was very smooth! We ubered into the port. As soon as we arrived we were able to walk right in with minimal wait time. Everything was marked and flowed very easily. I was worried since it was a bigger port, but my worrying was for nothing.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Our favorite spot, which is most people’s favorite, was Guy’s Burger. You can not go wrong there! Their fries are the best! I personally just wished it was open into dinner time 🤣 The Deli was a popular choice for us as well. The food is prepared fresh when you order. Despite the line it does move fairly quick. We had blts, tuna salad, meatballs, turkey wrap, fries and it was all yummy! The buffet is a buffet. The food wasn’t necessarily bad but I preferred doing the deli and picking at the food on the buffet. I can say the carrot cake on the buffet was on point! We only did mdr on formal night and twice for breakfast. It was good but we prefer more of the chilled out relaxed option with dining. The food was good and the service is good as well. We tried a few different items and they all came out great. Room service took a little longer than I would have expected. It took about 45 minutes to get our food when they told us 20.. with that being said it was super yummy. The blt was on point. The pb&j was ok, but it came on toasted bread and a pickle spear on top. Next time we know to order it not toasted and without the pickled spear 😁 The Bars were all good. Don’t be afraid to venture out and to look at all the menus. Every bar has their own menu but they all know how to make everything. My personal favorites are the Court Jester and the Blue Hawaiian frozen. There are many more good ones but these were our go to drinks.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We didn’t do too many activities in the ship. We did use the Serenity area so that there were no kids. The whirlpools in that area were decent size with good seating around the pool. We spent a lot of time in the casino. We won big and lost big, but in the end had a lot of fun. We placed in a blackjack tournament and will be going for 50K in May!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows and performances were fun! We did the 80s party, Punchliners, Veteran recognition, Love and Marriage, Q & A, etc. They were all good and fun in their own ways. It just sucks when you have multiple things you want to do and you are literally leaving one thing to run across the ship for the next show.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Majority of the personnel were amazing! They were fun to talk to. They were very attentive and helpful! There were a few times that we came across some not so very personable people but we ignored it and continued to have fun. It’s super nice when the staff learns your name and you have small talk with them. It shows they really pay attention to you.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Overall the ship was very clean and good to go... the design though! We struggled so bad lol. We went through many rooms to get to were we wanted to go because we couldn’t find out how to get there otherwise. By the end we were learning but it was a struggle most of the time.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was perfect size for what we needed. We had enough room to walk around and do what we needed. We utilized the closet, shelves, and bathroom to make everything flow easier and not feel cramped.

Ship tip

As with any ship don’t try to do everything. Pick a few activities then just go with the flow. Also take time to explore the boat and try to figure out we’re different places are.

Ports of call

Key West, Florida

4 out of 5
This was super fun. We didn’t book an excursion but instead just had fun shopping, eating, and site seeing. We visited the Southern most point in the continental United States, we ate at Sloppy Joes (yummy), looked at art, and chased chickens.. no for real there was chickens everywhere!

Miami, Florida

2 out of 5
The port itself was very busy yet ran smoothly.. BUT MIAMI THOUGH! It is a pain. Traffic sucks period!! We didn’t do much there except hit the nude beach (Haulover Park) then left because traffic is a nightmare. The beach was fun and a check off the ole bucket list. We will definitely do it again.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
We did an excursion at Xplor Park. It was an amazing experience. We went zip lining, cave swimming and rafting, ate driving, and ate some good food! It was one of the priciest excursions but so worth it. The only downfall is you have a 45 minute boat ride and a 25 minute bus ride each way that cuts down on your time. After the excursion we didn’t have time to do anything else in Cozumel.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
It was pretty quick and super easy. Customs was a little slow but nothing just crazy.

Patrick the location was amazing. It was at t end of the hall so there was a little walk but it was very convenient to the majority of the entertainment. It was quiet. I would book it again.
