Review summary

First time cruise. Although there were some things during the cruise that were negative, we will definitely do some more cruising in the future.

Embarkation

Confusion on where to go for Muster Drill. Also, temps were in the 90's and very humid. Bars were closed and passengers were unable to get water to cool down.

Food and Dining

Loved being able to try new things every nights. Portions sizes were good so passengers were able to try all courses without overeating.

Onboard Activities

Plenty to do, lots of choices. Also, the option to do nothing. The one major drawback we had was the Dreams Studio. Excellent photographer and does amazing work. We were so excited about the having a session done, but then DEVESTATED when looking at the pictures and told the prices. Most people save at least a year or so to take a cruise and cannot afford such high prices. Picture packages should be listed on the website, so cruisers know upfront the prices, so that they can be prepared. Had the prices but cut in half, we definitely would have made a purchase.

Entertainment

Only took in one show, but loved it. Cruise director Philipe was the best. Made the cruise even more enjoyable.

Couldn't be happier with the crew. Very friendly and helpful. Our kitchen and server staff was great and loved their entertainment during dinner.

Room was perfect.

Ship tip

I would only recommend the Cheers package if you plan on staying on the ship all day. Cheaper to pay as you go, unless you don't to worry about keeping track of money on your S&S card.
