Transportation was a rundown bus with no ac or windows. We got soaked when it rained and steamed up from the plastic roll down windows. The authentic lunch was worst than fast food at home, not a restaurant as stated.
Your individual ratings do not support your overall rating, nor your statement that it was disappointing. You're not getting anything free for being a curmudgeon. I am disappointed with this review.
I am sorry you had such a bad time. Those short weekend cruise can be full. Especially , the end of May since school just let out in some places. College graduates too.
You don't all get off at 9:30. You have to be out of your stateroom by 9:30. They debark by zones. If you didnt check your luggage the night before and have it all with you you can go first. Then, handicapped and priority going after. Still all are off by 10:30
We have sailed on multiple cruise lines, including Carnival and never had an issue with Carnival. It appears you chose a three or four night cruise, which are generally on older ships and the standards are not always up to the newer ships or longer cruises. Basically, you get what you pay for
