This is the first time we have gone on a 4 night cruise and it had been many years since we had been in a Carnival cruise. We found many of the passengers loud and rude. Guess we will go on longer cruises like we always do and on other cruise lines.
Embarkation

It was very fast.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
The restaurant for breakfast was mediocre. Two times was given the wrong omelet, my juice when we were ready to leave. My husband had to remind waiter for things he ordered. The restaurant for dinner was lots better, the workers were very efficient and friendly. Side portions very small. Buffets which we always love were not the greatest. Was disappointed.r

Ship Quality

Everything is easy to find, but to go to Pacific restaurant you need to go to end of 5th floor then take elevator or stairs to 3rd floor.
Cabin / Stateroom

We had requested 2 beds, when we arrived they were set up as one. We called and soon after dinner they were made into two. Matresses and pillows were very comfortable and A/C worked rate.
We just walked around. We didn't have a lot of time. Wanted to go to Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville but didn't open till 11. Had to be at ship before 1 pm so we just went to Sloppy Joe's. Not enough time at port.
My husband went on a snorkeling excursion and I did the Mayan Ball game, tortilla and tamale making, tequila tasting, folk dancing and lunch. They were nice.
Carnival is not the problem, it’s the shorter cruises that attracts the party crowds on all cruise lines. If you take a seven day or longer cruise and try to cruise out of a port that is harder to get to such as San Juan, you will have a much better experience
