The buffets were horrible; random options, food was cold, eggs were always runny. The cake was gross during the chocolate extravaganza. The chocolate mousse cake giggled, like gelatin. We tried to stay away as much as possible. Breakfast in the dining room was great. But we received the wrong food twice. The dinner in the dining room ok. The portions were small. My husband ordered something off the extra menu. We paid $20.00 for his meal that was smaller than the included meal. We ordered sushi two different time. Both times it was amazing.

Our personal room steward was great, no complaints there. But the service we received from others was mute. We received attitudes for asking questions, given wrong information and sent to the wrong floors. It would take for ever to receive a drink. Photographers are up your butt and very pushy. We took several photo throughout the cruise, but only 2 photos were linked to our account.

The buffet was always a mess. Staff would walk pass tables with dirty plates and trays during busy times when several people were looking for somewhere to sit. Several times people were cleaning off tables to seat themselves.

Everything was fine except the bathroom. It smelled musty or something, especially after showering.

I was on the same cruise (same dates) and our experience was great. As for the portion sizes, order 2 or 3 until your full. They will bring as much as you want. I typically ordered 2 or 3 appetizers and usually 1 or 2 entrees. Only did breakfast buffet and it wasn’t great but was more than adequate. Sorry you had a bad cruise. We had a fabulous time and are already booked with carnival again for August!

We went on Carnival Victory and loved it. Lots of activities, service was great and food was delicious. The attendants were very nice. I think they did an excellent job considering the amount of people that they were dealing with. We are sailing with Carnival for a 3rd time in July. We have no complaints. Hate to hear you didn't have a great time.

Been on the victory before and didnt experience any if this. All quite the opposite. Would definitely go again. Hope you give it another try.

I have been on 11 Carnival cruises and never had the problems you had. I hope you give Carnivsl another try. Dinner in the dining room is always good. I never found the portions small as a matter of fact I would bet they meet dietary guidelines. You can order as much as you want. Yes, the buffet can be iffy. Did you try deli, pizza, guys or Blue Iguana? All are good. Did you take your complaints to guest services? FYI...Victory is an old ship and is to be refurbished in 2020 and become the radiance.
