Review summary

Dining room staff was great. Cruise was ok. Drink package worth it. Food wasn’t great, just okay. Room was small not worth it to me to pay extra for the balcony. Pools smaller than I expected and they use salt water.

BALCONY IS THE BEST I DONT CARE HOW LONG YOU IN THE ROOM WOULDNT TRAVEL WITHOUT BALCONY

Figure out how much you might use your balcony on booked itinerary. Iceland probably too cold. Amazon River probably too hot and too many insects. Use common sense.

It’s out 25th wedding anniversary we have never gotten a balcony but we are planning on spending more time alone just enjoying each other and the see air so I think this time a balcony will be worth it this time

In my opinion after many cruises, some with balconies . They are not worth the extra cost for us. We never really used them enough. So, unless it is Alaska and I can see glaciers and sea life no more balconies. Also, I think the rooms are plenty big. Even interiors. It's just for sleeping right?

We discovered long ago that for the amount of time we spent on our balconies, the extra cost wasn’t worth it. Now, as a retired couple, we cannot afford to cruise annually in anything but an inside cabin, but the cabin is where you spend the least amount of your time. I’m surprised that you thought the cabin was small, because as someone who has cruised 4 different cruise lines, I have to tell you that Carnival’s are the largest. Cruise cabins are never as big as a hotel room, unless you book a huge suite.

Most cruise ships use salt water in their pools.
