Review summary

This was our first cruise together. My wife's second cruise my first ever and we are hooked. We had a wonderful time both on the ship and ashore. Beautiful weather, friendly helpful staff, we look forward to cruising again. We had a great experience on the Carnival Victory. It was an early anniversary trip for us.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We purchased FTTF and we were on the ship in minutes once we cleared customs and our room was ready when we got on board.

The room was clean and decent size. We loved the Aft balcony, the views were breathtaking. Our room steward was wonderful and quick.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)

5 out of 5
If we could give this port 10 stars we would. The sign says it all "I wish I could stay here forever." I've never experience a beach so beautiful in my life. White powdery sand, clear calm blue water. Pictures don't do it justice. Highly recommend this private island.

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
Everything that made Half Moon Cay wonderful is what this port missed. At least the part we experienced. It was dirty, crowded, and you get hassled the moment you get off the pier. We spent our day at Nassau at the Warwick resort on a day pass, we enjoyed our time there all inclusive nice pools, great drinks, and good food. Nassau will be a port we won't mind missing on future cruises.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Again with FTTF we got priority disembarkation so we were in the second group to leave the ship and it went smoothly.

Traveler Photos

Sunset over Miami as we head out to sea. Rainbow seen from our Aft balcony. Poolside view from the Warwick Miami cruise port the morning of the 5th Hotel selfie post cruise wearing our custom cruise shirts! View of our ship from the beach! Wish we could stay here forever!

Great choice of vacation! Been cruising since the '70's, cruised on our honeymoon and continued to enjoy it. Did a lot of land tours over the years then went back to pretty much cruising exclusively. Future plans: 106 night world cruise. Gotta have goals!

That's great you loved it. We've been on 8 cruises so far and I wish we started earlier. Absolutely love it. The best vacation ever. Happy cruising!
