Review summary

Overall I was disappointed with my first cruise experience. I thought the ship and pools on the ship would be larger. Also, I spent days looking at all the activities on the Carnival web sight only to be disappointed that my ship didn't even have the really good ones! Oh, they had activities; they had a casino, Bingo and events that pushed products, that is if you like that kind of stuff, which I do not. I do enjoy swimming, however, the pools were always crowded. Even the Adult Only area was crowed. All I got to say is my balcony and the amazing food is the only thing that saved the trip! Will not be going on another cruise.

5 out of 5
The food was excellent!

Atlantic Dining Room

5 out of 5

The food was excellent and the service was efficient, but could have been done with a smile.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
There was hardly anything I wanted to do, except swim but, unfortunately the pools were small and crowded.

King Of The Sea Pool

1 out of 5

Too small and crowed

Entertainment

2 out of 5
The show were too cheesy, Karaoke had too many drunk people acting stupid. The only thing I really enjoyed was the comedy club.

Caribbean Main Lounge

4 out of 5

PG comedy was very funny and entertaining,

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
They were very professional but not very friendly except for my service room attendant, he was very friendly and remembered my name :)

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was very clean and loved the towel creatures on my bed ;)

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very clean and comfortable

Ship tip

To make sure you bring motion sickness pills, sea bands and essential oil because you CAN feel the boat moving.

Ports of call

Key West, Florida

Cute little town

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Wish we could have had more time at this port, there was so much to do and not enough time to do it in.

Disembarkation

Other then too early it was fast and easy.

Sorry about your bad experience, we had tried other lines, and always stay with Carnival, not all ships are the same, tried different seasons, routes, destinations. You didn’t mention the shows or dancing. We just came from the Horizon and dancing with the Latin band was great, the Violin group was good and the shows magnificent. The Victory used to had a magnificent trio that will make any one feet move. (65 and still dancing 💃)😊. Hope you have a great time on next one.

You need to try a different cruiseline. Try Royal Caribbean, Independence of the Seas. Fantastic . Wall climbing, Flo Rider, Miniature Golf, movies outside, basketball, great pool splash area for kids. GREAT shows. Delicious food. .!oved it et

@momalaof5 Hi there, I had a great time last year on the Victory. Not sure if you tried the night club, comedy show or anything like that where it's such a fun crowd. However, I do understand with it being older and smaller than the larger ships out here, you may have been looking for more. The newer and larger ships of Carnival and Royal Caribbean are amazing. Plenty of pools, especially the adult pool in the serenity area. Just my lil input. They're a little extra but worth it. Good luck fellow cruiser.

Research is key.

Sounds like you would’ve been better off going on a larger newer ship.

Well it's not for everyone. You learn by experience that some of your best times are the ones you create yourself.
