I had a ball on my first cruise! There are things that i learned as far as what to do differently on my next cruise but It did not deter me from cruising...cant wait until the next one!
Embarkation

The ship was delayed so once we arrived in Miami, we were rerouted to a shopping area to hang out. when we were supposed to meet back up to get on the bus to the ship, they only had one bus at a time. with the large numbers this made the process endless! Then one of the buses was hit and the people had to get off and wait again...Needless to say being on board by 3pm turned into almost 7...Not the best start of my first cruise

The food was ok. The negative was not enough selections for late night dining. I was expecting great food day and night from what others have told me about cruising. Maybe I was expecting too much.
Onboard Activities

I really enjoyed the movies at night, the bingo, karaoke, and the comedy shows. I have to say the pools were a disappointment. I was expecting bigger and deeper. They were very small so no way to compete with the kids.

I enjoyed the club. One night had great music then the next night is was horrible....l like almost anything with music so I thought the DJ could have been more versatile

Make sure that if you didnt book excursions ahead of time then they need to get off the ship as soon as it docks in order to get one before they fill up.
