the overall Cruise was a good cruise I would recommend it to first-time Cruisers any experience Cruiser I would not recommend to go on the victory I do now not recommend anyone to go on a cruise right after Dry Dock because they will experience a lot of things that are not working and things that are not an operational status this will cause some difficulties during your cruise not all the time but most of the time this particular Cruise was smooth a little bit Rocky because the ship was trying to make up time for leaving so late but other than that it was overall a good Cruise the staff tried to help as much as they possibly could I do believe that the manager should have been there to handle more things and not leave it up to the crew members to handle the problems

The embarkation experience was smooth once we were able to get into the terminal but before the terminal it was hectic because they delayed the ship and US boarding

The food in the main dining room was mediocre the best part about the food was guys Fiera and also the pizza Pirate and also the Shrimp Shack those were the best other than that the food in the buffet and the main dining room were mediocre at best

Most of the pools were not open at times then when they were open they were full of kids the hot tubs in the serenity area one was working one was not working at times neither of them was working the activities on board were okay I did not participate in Bingo but I heard that it was fun the comedy club was good

The singing in the main Atrium was great I like to sing alongs and all the entertainment they had in the main Atrium the comedy club was off the hook the dance club was good on some days the music wasn't always danceable but it was good

Our room Porter was very good his assistant threw away some things that we had but did replace them the guest services staff was helpful but I believe that the manager should have been there to handle the amount of problems that we had on board the problems that we had on board were no hot water for 3 days and no water pressure so we were kind of upset about that but they offered us for the whole cabin and it was four of us in there a $300 credit

The ship was laid out pretty well and the cleanliness of the ship was pretty good it did just come out of dry dock so I didn't expect it to be too dirty or filthy like other people said which it wasn't what I did notice is that the bathrooms and most of the public areas were not up kept like they should have been and also a lot of the me being a male lot of the urinals were not an operational status and now I was trying to figure that out why that was when it just came out of dry dock
Cabin / Stateroom

The actual size of the cabin was very well for four people we were not cramped it was tight but we were not cramped we were full grown adults and it was pretty spacious we had room to walk around and things of that nature the cabin was pretty clean and it had a very large window
Ship tip
My advice to someone that's going to feel on the victory is be prepared to eat at the Pizza Pirate also be prepared to eat at the Shrimp Shack and also that it is a good place to walk around and get exercise on the ship
The port in Miami was nice we went to Bayside it was a very nice place to visit it's very expensive very very very expensive a little for Slice Pizza was $9 and one pina colada was $15 so it was very expensive other than that it's a nice place to visit they have a lot of gift shops and things of that nature and a lot of excursions riding the speed boat and all like that
Grand Turk was a very nice experience with the snorkeling Stingray experience and the beach experience and also the little shopping area was very very quaint and nice the food was wonderful on the beach and the rum punch was great
The Sunscape resort was wonderful the port was very very secure you are not able to get in or out without security checking you thoroughly also the resort where I did parasailing was wonderful and had a lot of vendors on the beach which was kind of annoying because they did try to force you into buying things and give you a sob story about how poor the country is which we know it is poor but they were over doing it
Disembarking the ship was very smooth did not take any time at all when we got outside we were able to get a ride to our hotel with no problem and it was just a good experience
Sounds like your cruise could have been better. I see a lot of reviews where people complaining about a ship right after a dry dock. I guess, they get rushed.
